INSIGHTS TO SONGS

1. Destiny
Once in a while you must take a look around--recognize what's good--fix what's not.

2. Do It For Love
When you lose someone you love, there's always the question why.

3. Down And Out Blues
Everybody's had a day when they hit rock bottom. Hanging at the bar isn't a cure but it helps.

4. Never Look Back
Sometimes people give up, lose direction, and become complacent. Never realizing the bad things are never as bad as they seem and you must never give up.

5. Live Or Die
Growing up in the country, early on you realize what you can and cannot do. You soon discover everywhere's the same and its up to you to make the changes. What you do in your life really has no boundaries.

6. You're Always There
I wrote this one for my wife. It's all true. If you're lucky enough to have a soulmate, it should inspire you.

7. I Need The Money
I didn't write this one but totally arranged it from a crappy demo. It really fits the theme.

8. Baby, That's Life
A lightly dismal look at the world with a message of beware. (ala CYA)

9. Can't Smoke That Carlton here
A cool hook-lick with a double entendre title. A compliment to Larry Carlton and a societal note on smoking in California .

10. Cheap Champagne
Here's a way to overcome your blues. Always gets the job done and doesn't make you go broke.

11. Done Is Done (Scary Monsters)
One must have at least one ass-kickin' rocker that's simple enough that anyone could play. I decided to put in the "monsters battle" bridge as a concept theme for a later date. Nice ending!
